The Spanish royal family is immersed in a controversy, which has Queen Letizia a bit worried, as some of the royals could be splashed in some legal matters that could destroy her image. For this reason, the monarch has decided to separate herself from any kind of alliance she has with her husband, King Felipe VI and head of state in Spain, and it’s all partly the fault of King Juan Carlos I, the emeritus king.
The father of the current monarch has ignored Zarzuela’s orders and this Wednesday he will return to Spain, something he was completely forbidden to do. He is also forbidden to enter the Royal Palace, but it seems that he does not care about these orders.
The journalist Juan Luis Galiacho, was in charge of notifying that Juan Carlos is forbidden to approach the palace. Since Felipe has not been able to get his father to listen to him after having asked him not to move from Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, if not to attend an unavoidable institutional act.

Queen Letizia has decided to stay away from her husband to avoid being included in the controversy between father and son. Several sources, assure that the queen is the one who currently has the most valuable voice within the monarchy, to the point that this whole situation has detracted respect for King Felipe VI.
Jaime Peñafiel, a chronicler specialized in the royal house, stated in an article a tough fight the kings had recently:
“Everything indicates that it was Letizia who, in a heated and violent fight with Felipe, with a total lack of respect, forced him to break definitively with his father. It was not enough for the enraged Letizia that Felipe tried to reason with her, even crying. This will kill him! He’s my father… Think more about your daughter. As the situation stands, she won’t become queen“.
Queen Letizia now knows that being separated for a while from King Felipe VI would be the best move to protect her image and reputation.
