A new KPOP unit, made up of three members of multinational supergroup NCT, debuted its first EP album on Monday, April 17, its representative agency SM Entertainment said. It is expected to be moderately successful and over time, new sub-units will debut.
The agency announced that “NCT Dojaejung,” made up of Doyoung, Jaehyun and Jungwoo, has released their EP album, “Perfume.” The unit performed for the first time, as a group, during NCT 127’s world tour in October in Seoul.
The EP features six songs, including “Perfume” – the title track, “Kiss,” “Strawberry Sunday”, “Can We Go Back”, “Ordinary” and “Dive.” The unit held a special performance at an art center in southern Seoul on Sunday to celebrate its debut.

During the show, the band said their debut was possible because fans like their combination and added that they will succeed in the tradition of SM’s three-member units, such as Super Junior‘s K.R.Y., Girls’ Generation’s TTS and EXO‘s CBX.
Several SM artists who are older than NCT, such as TVXQ‘s Max Changmin, Girls’ Generation‘s Taeyeon and Red Velvet‘s Seulgi and Yeri, also participated in the event, according to SM, supporting their company’s new project.
