The official coronation of King Charles III is full of controversy and has not yet begun. And apart from the scandals within the British royal family, no recognized singer of his nation agreed to sing at his prestigious ceremony, something that has been seen by the media as a clear “boycott” of his reign.
In recent weeks, it became known that the vast majority of the most renowned British artists refused to perform at the official coronation of King Charles III, where they all claimed to have other “occupations” that prevented them from attending the ceremony.
Adele, Coldplay, Ed Sheeran, Harry Styles, Spice Girls, Elton John among other names, flatly refused to sing at the ceremony, causing great disappointment to the monarch, since he had hoped that all of them would be at the event.

However, today the official list of the musicians who will be present at the ceremony has been revealed. However, it has drawn attention to the fact that some of the biggest names are foreign artists.
The popular American singers Katy Perry and Lionel Richie, the Italian opera singer Andrea Bocelli, among others, are the names that have stood out among the confirmed artists.
This has generated a great deal of discussion among the general public, who have noticed how Buckingham Palace has had to look for other foreign artists after the deep rejection that its own local talent has given to the King.
“We will come together as a nation for this unique occasion, broadcasting exclusively live from Windsor Castle“, said BBC head of content Charlotte Moore.
