Dalai Lama touches Lady Gaga’s leg without consent and video goes viral

Due to a viral video in which he kisses a toddler in the mouth and tells him to suck his tongue, the Dalai Lama is receiving widespread criticism. The spiritual leader had to emerge and apologize after the video went viral and received a lot of critical responses.

The Tibetan leader is being called for to be tried for abuse against the youngster since it doesn’t seem like that is enough. Another video that recently went popular on social media shows the Dalai Lama “holding hands” with Lady Gaga in a scenario that has only served to fuel the controversy already surrounding him.

The Dalai Lama has also brought up old, contentious comments about the potential of a female spiritual leader, which he claimed at the time “must be very attractive” to succeed him. He later had to apologise for this remark, though.

On social media, a picture of Lady Gaga seated next to the Dalai Lama is going around. The Dalai Lama unexpectedly reaches out and scratches the singer’s leg as they are both on stage in front of an audience and the actress is sporting torn pants.

While looking at the Tibetan leader, who does not stop and continues to reach out to touch the actress, Lady Gaga reacts, grins at him, and shakes her head negatively. The actress then stops the elder guy from touching her.

The contentious scenario is from a meeting that took place in Indianapolis, Indiana, in 2016. The Dalai Lama and Lady Gaga spoke at that meeting about compassion and “the poor ability to teach compassion,” according to the figurehead at the time.
