King Charles III is about to be crowned as the new monarch of the United Kingdom this coming May 6th, yet due to his advanced age, Prince William should be ready to take over in case King Charles has health complications.
According to recent reports, Prince William is taking his role as the future king of the British crown very seriously, so much so that he even gets angry with his father when he does not meet the expectations of what William believes he should do as king.
Still, as ready as William is to be king, he doesn’t want to be, mainly because it’s not a good time for the heir to the throne. Over the past few months, his public image has been tarnished due to controversial rumors of infidelity with one of his wife’s best friends.

Rose Hanbury would be the third in discord between Prince William and Kate Middleton, his wife. Rose is a member of the English royalty, wife of the Duke of Cholmondeley, so she would also be committing an infidelity in their marriage. She and Kate used to be good friends according to older reports on the subject, yet that was totally in the past.
The rumors were basically confirmed when we learned through the British media that Kate had requested to completely ban Rose from all British state and crown events. This caused even more damage to William’s public perception.
In the best case scenario, King Charles would be as long-lived as his mother, the late Queen Elizabeth II, which would give William some time to replenish his public image so he can take the throne in good shape.
So what do you think, should William wait or take the throne outright?
