Shakira publicly denounces that her children are being repeatedly abused

Shakira uses social networks to send a strong statement to all the media and paparazzi that follow her and her sons Sasha and Milan everywhere. Just a few days ago, Shakira published in her social networks an extensive statement to ask the paparazzi and other media to stop chasing her children in her new life in Miami, United States.

The interpreter of ‘BZRP Music Sessions #53’ undoubtedly shocked her followers by stating that the paparazzi have already chased the children in their various daily activities, something that for her is a clear violation of their rights as children.

“My children Milan and Sasha have lived a very difficult year, suffering an incessant siege and relentless persecution by paparazzi and various media in Barcelona,” said the star.

The Colombian artist also took the opportunity to ask the media as a favor to stop their harassment and proceed to respect her right to privacy:

“Now that they are starting a new stage in their lives I strongly ask the media on behalf of my children to please respect their right to privacy.

I beg you to refrain from following them to the exit or entrance of the school, waiting for them at the door of our house, or chasing them to their extracurricular activities, as has happened every day in Barcelona in order to get pictures or better ratings“, exclaimed the artist.

As we all know, Shakira has officially moved to the United States, leaving behind her love story with Gerard Piqué but managing to take Sasha and Milan with her, so they will start a new school and new facilities where they will start practicing the sports they previously practiced in Spain.
