King Charles III wants to change some aspects of his official coronation ceremony and the British people are not happy about it and think it is ridiculous. Some of the proposed changes include refurbishing Buckingham Palace to make it more modern and appealing to the younger generations.
Charles’ coronation is closer than ever, the ceremony will take place on May 6 at Westminster Abbey. The people can’t stop speculating about what is going to happen during the important event and they are discussing things like what kind of clothing will the royals use or who is or is not going to attend.
According to the Buckingham Palace website, there are hints about what kind of crowns King Charles III and Camilla Parker are going to use, what their coronation chairs will be like, and how the ceremony will be developed. Earlier this week, it was also revealed what the invitations looked like.
However, it was reported that King Charles III wants a crowning ceremony completely different from Queen Elizabeth II’s coronation 70 years ago. He wants an inclusive ceremony and he would like everyone to use informal clothes without breaking royal protocols.
Some people are against King Charles III’s desires and decisions saying that the traditions should not be changed. Some royal experts believe that he is doing this to start his and Camilla Parker’s plan to improve their image and be beloved and accepted by the British People.
