King Charles III has been accused of appropriating the British people’s wealth to make the royal family richer. As a result, the British people have started to describe him as a dishonest person and this deeply concerns him because his popularity is going down just before the coronation ceremony.
Charles was not the only person involved in the accusations, the late Queen Elizabeth II and the next heir to the throne, Prince William, are also complicit in profiting from the British people. According to The Guardian, King Charles III, and Queen Elizabeth II were allegedly guilty of selling British people’s properties without their consent.
Duchy accounts, held in parliamentary and state archives, reveal how the queen and her first-born son, in his capacity as the Duke of Cornwall, benefited from a huge increase in their revenues from the duchies during her seven-decade reign.
It was reported that the family has a property located in the North of England, Duchy of Lancaster, which has 18,481 hectares and it’s valued at £652,000,000. Similarly, the control over the Duchy of Cornwall was given to Prince William when Charles became king last year and he’s now expecting an annual income of at least £20,000,000 from it.
The investigation led by The Guardian made the British people angry and there are even groups of people who are calling for a complete boycott of King Charles III’s coronation ceremony.
