The coronation of King Charles III of England is being very controversial. This important event for the British Royal Family will take place on May 6 and will consist of a solemn ceremony in Westminster Abbey to which 2,000 people have been invited.

Members of many Royal Houses and the highest political authorities of the planet will attend. The last we could know is that both his son Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle are more than invited to the big day, what is not yet known is whether they will accept the invitation.

The same day of the coronation is also the birthday of Archie, the eldest son of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and they have not wanted to confirm attendance yet. It is also known that a very important person has declined the invitation to the coronation.

.

It has been known that Joe Biden would have declined the invitation from Buckingham Palace. According to the British press, the leader has informed that he will not travel to London to attend the event because he has other commitments and that he will send a delegation as a gesture of good will.

Although it seems that the excuse he has given is understandable, the British newspapers qualify this gesture as a “snub” and apparently it has not sat well with King Charles III, who according to the British press, is angry with the United States government for not sending their maximum leader.
