The primary part that Prince George, the oldest child of Prince William and Kate Middleton, will play in the coronation of his grandfather King Charles III, has been made public.
Due to the controversies that Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle have sparked with their remarks, as well as the purported rumors about Prince William’s extramarital affair with one of his wife’s best friends, many have speculated about the coronation of the King Charles III and Queen consort Camilla Parker.
The coronation event has faced numerous challenges since last year, but it is now formal that it will take place on May 6 if everything goes according to plan. As a result, preparations have already started at Westminster Abbey, where the royal members have practiced in the past.
One of Kate and Prince William’s children will have to perform a crucial role in the coronation, according to official sources close to the British Crown.
Prince George, age 9, will make history at the coronation because he will march with his grandpa, the King Charles III, in the procession that will happen just before the monarch is crowned:
“The King’s pages of honor will be His Royal Highness Prince George of Wales, Lord Oliver Cholmondeley, Master Nicholas Barclay and Master Ralph Tollemache”.
Since he will be the youngest future monarch to play a significant role in the coronation, this will go down in royal history. He will be able to use it because, despite still being a minor, he has already shown his great maturity and moral character in previous public events.
