This week Queen Consort Camilla Parker received devastating news that left her mourning the death of a loved one. The wife of King Charles III is said to be “devastated” to learn of the passing of one of her close friends.
King Charles III‘s first tour outside the United Kingdom since he ascended the throne began with sad news for her. Her dear friend, TV presenter Paul O’Grady, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 67 on March 28th.
“Deeply saddened to hear of the death of Paul O’Grady, who worked closely with Her Majesty in support of Battersea, providing lots of laughter and many waggy-tailed memories.” read a statement on the royal family’s official Twitter account.

Queen consort Camilla Parker and Paul O’Grady managed to form an unbreakable friendship over the years which was united by their mutual love for animals. The pair were even ambassadors for Battersea Dogs and Cats Home, sharing the belief that every animal deserves the best.
