King Charles III would have for the security guards of his castles some pretty dirty rooms, but that on the outside they did not seem so, since they look impeccable. This has been revealed by a soldier who decided to resign from his role because the living conditions for him were so deplorable.

The security guards of the castles are recognized worldwide for their luxurious military insignia, also because they remain guarding Buckingham Palace and St James’s Palace, protecting all the people who live there and who are close to the royal family, such as King Charles III, Queen consort Camilla Parker and others.

They have been doing their job for thousands of years, since 1660 the soldiers have been recognized for their excellent work while guarding the luxurious castles. However, for them it has not all been good, as it has recently come to light the inhuman way they live.

A former Coldstream guard, who preferred not to be identified, has revealed to a major media outlet what it has been like living there and why he had to resign. “It’s a disgusting way to treat soldiers who are doing a pretty important job. Prisoners in Britain have better living conditions than we do“, expressed the source.

And he continued his statement by adding how spotless they look on the outside, but on the inside it is totally the opposite: “The barracks in Wellington are absolutely filthy, but on the outside they look great. Tourists stand at the gates to take pictures, but you wouldn’t believe what life is like for the soldiers inside“.

Rats were dying in the dumpsters. There are piles of garbage inside the housing areas and the stench from the toilets is unbearable. All the problems are in the blocks where the soldiers live“. Another soldier also admitted that approximately 32 soldiers live on each floor and can only share two toilets between them.

This revelation could negatively affect the upcoming coronation of King Charles III, causing many more people to come out to protest in front of the various palaces of the royal family.
