Pope Francis has reportedly been hospitalized in Rome, Italy after his health condition worsened overnight. According to sources close to the Vatican, the Pontiff’s health is in critical condition but not many details have been shared with the public.
Pope Francis was admitted to the hospital on Wednesday and has been there since then. The religious figure has been dealing with respiratory problems which have gotten worse in the last few months and that raises concerns among the catholic community all over the world.
Jorge Mario’s health has been a topic of discussion on social media since last year after several rumors about his decaying health surfaced online. Despite this, it is also being said that Pope Francis would be discharged on Saturday to start the celebration of the Holy Week.
An anonymous source claimed that his life is not at risk but he’s having some difficulties breathing and if his condition does not improve, he could cancel all his public appearances in the upcoming days:
“The pope is not in danger of dying. The question is how he is going to analyze the situation and what conclusions he is going to draw from it.’’
For now, it looks like the international media and religious people of the world will have to wait for updates on Pope Francis’ health status just before the most important week in the Catholic religion.
