Alison Corfield, considered a public relations guru in the United Kingdom, has rejected the position of being Kate Middleton’s private secretary, a charge which consists of assisting the princess in all the events prior, during and after the coronation of the king Charles III.
The Duchess of Wales is consistently looking for a secretary to assume the position of being her right hand in all the matters corresponding to her meetings, which are increasing in numbers every day, and much more now with the coronation just around the corner.
And although she has been suffering from rumors of a possible infidelity of her husband, the Prince William, with one of her best friends, Rose Hanbury, the Duchess Kate Middleton has chosen to put aside the rumors and be happy, working more than before, so she decided to seek the support of Alison Corfield, a 51-year-old public relations professional.
The professional would have to be present for Kate Middleton in matters such as organizing appointments for any social event, overseeing official engagements, staying by her side at any event and even carrying the gifts that the public wants to give to the duchess.
But she turned down the offer according to The Sunday Telegraph because “she does not want the publicity that comes with working at that level for such a well-known institution”, but there are those who believe that the multiple resignations and rejections of other women to the position, could have a strong weight in Alison Corfield’s decision.
