Separation between King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia of Spain is confirmed

Through several sources close to the royal house, it has been affirmed that King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia of Spain are going through a divorce process, after having “months without even talking to each other” because of different internal problems associated with their family, their roles as heads of state and the future of their two daughters.

The controversial article of the newspaper ‘El Nacional de Cataluña’ stated that the marriage between the kings of Spain would be coming to an end, since according to what was written by Pilar Eyre, an expert on royalty, King Felipe VI and Letizia have not even spoken to each other for several months.
