Prince Harry has shown that he is one of the favorite public figures in the United Kingdom despite the multiple controversies he has been involved in. According to a recent report, Harry is a likely candidate to ascend to the British throne.
The Duke of Sussex has gone from being the King’s noblest son to becoming one of the most controversial figures in the royal family. This does not come as a surprise since his declarations in his memoir, Spare, and his Netflix docuseries garnered a lot of attention and painted the other royals in a negative light.
Despite the scandals, a recently conducted survey demonstrated that Prince Harry is one of the favorite royal figures and the British people want him to replace his father and ascend to the British throne when he eventually passes away.
The survey was conducted by Betfair Bingo and over two thousand adults in the United Kingdom were asked to answer the question of who would they like to become the next heir to the throne and the results surprised many.
The Prince of Wales obtained 47.5% of the total votes while Prince Harry had 8.8% surpassing the new people’s princess, Kate Middleton, and other royal members. Meghan Markle placed 5th on the survey despite being called problematic by the press.
If the Duke and Duchess of Sussex attend King Charles III’s coronation on May 6, they could increase their popularity among the British people in order to be more beloved and accepted.
