King Charles III and Camilla Parker are already in Germany for their first state visit as King and Queen. On Wednesday they landed at Berlin Brandenburg Airport in Schoenefeld, very close to the German capital, to undertake this historic trip that will end on Friday.
The German President, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, and the First Lady, Elke Büdenbender, have been waiting for them in Brandenburg. The British King and Queen will be entertained with a state banquet in their honor organized by Steinmeier and his wife at the Bellevue Palace, the official residence of the German President.
The following day, the King will go to the Bundestag, the seat of the German Bundestag, and will meet with refugees recently arrived from Ukraine, where he will hear their testimonies and learn about the aid that the German country is providing them after fleeing the war.
King Charles III and Queen consort Camilla Parker are also scheduled to meet representatives of a joint German-British family unit these days and will see a demonstration of amphibious vehicles used to build bridges.

From Berlin, the sovereign and his wife will travel to Hamburg to visit the St. Nicholas memorial, which consists of the remains of a church that was destroyed when the Allies bombed the city during World War II. The King and the German president will lay wreaths in a brief tribute of remembrance.
The King and Camilla will also learn about the green technology that has been implemented in the port of Hamburg and meet with representatives of some of the companies involved. Finally, to close the visit, the King and Queen will attend a reception with residents and members of the local British Comunnity, accompanied by the presidential couple.
