EXO’s Sehun responds directly to rumors of having a pregnant girlfriend

EXO member Sehun denied rumors that surfaced about having an alleged pregnant girlfriend. The idol’s agency, SM Entertainment, also made an official announcement about the artist’s defamation within 24 hours of the publication that talked about the South Korean rapper’s alleged girlfriend.

“These are false rumors and has no basis. It is a criminal act of distributing false information with malicious intent“, the company spokesperson said.

A user posted the photo of Sehun’s alleged girlfriend on a Korean social forum, claiming that the woman was pregnant, and also linked it to a March 20 post where a netizen claimed to have seen an idol accompanying someone to an OB-GYN consultation.

Sehun’s agency denied the rumors and also assured that they will proceed legally against the creators of the posts in question.

“Although the posts were removed, we are monitoring the activity of the original creator and those who spread them. We will take legal action“, stated SM Entertainment.

Meanwhile, on Bubble, a social app for EXO fans, Sehun expressed his annoyance over the comments on his personal life.

“I’m very upset that this situation came up even when I didn’t do or say anything. I want to tell you that it’s not even a misunderstanding“, the K-pop idol expressed.

Later, the boy group member also spoke out with a message to his fans via his instagram.

“Senseless publications began to spread in the last few days and I felt I had to act legally to stop it fast. My fans already know this, but there is a woman who has been acting like she is my girlfriend for the past few years. She writes on her networks as if we are in a relationship. I found out about this because I was tipped off. I don’t know her, but letting it go as an insignificant situation led to things growing to this point“, Sehun clarified.
