Shakira got into a fight with Gerard Piqué’s mom

Shakira had a violent encounter with Gerard Piqué’s mother, Montserrat Bernabéu. According to the rumors, the altercation happened when the Colombian artist pointed out that her former mother-in-law tried to hide the extramarital affairs of his son with Clara Chía.

According to Spanish media, Piqué’s mother gave one of her houses to Gerard Piqué so he could spend time with Clara Chía. Laura Fa, a recognized journalist, claimed that while Shakira needed a shoulder to cry on, Bernabéu was complicit in hiding his son’s affair which really hurt Shakira’s feelings and made her upset.

Some Spanish local newspapers reported that someone close to the Piqué-Mebarak family witnessed the physical altercation between the two women. The anonymous source revealed that Montserrat punched Shakira in front of the former soccer player and her two children, Sasha and Milan:
