Prince William is aware of how his image and reputation went down after multiple articles claiming he had an extramarital affair with Rose Hanbury were published. However, the infidelities allegations have been surrounding him for years and he has issued several warnings to the media that spread the rumors.
The first time the media discussed the affair was in 2019 after a series of photos were leaked online where the Prince of Wales and Rose Hanbury can be seen together in a private party and having a good time. The scandal went viral immediately and he had to issue a statement explaining what happened.
William’s reputation is still damaged by this and he decided to hire a law firm, Harbottle & Lewis, to clean his image by publishing several articles where it’s assured that the Prince’s infidelity with Rose Hanbury is “False and harmful”.
The law firm also revealed that William thought about taking legal action against the media that leaked the photos. However, he did not do it in order to reduce the scandal and protect his reputation.
Despite all of this, the rumors are still intact nowadays and some even say that things have gotten worse. According to a source, Kate Middleton said in a private event that his husband was not as special as before and the future of their marriage is uncertain.
