Prince Harry returns to the public eye after it was reported that the could be deported from the United States because allegedly he lied in the application for his visa to permanently live there.
The Duke of Sussex published his memoir, Spare, in January. Since then, He has been in the eye of the hurricane due to the scandals generated by the attacks and the detailed secrets he shared about the royal family. Earlier this month, it was also revealed that the Prince could lose his visa due to the information he gave during the application process.
Despite the fact that he has not been in public spaces, he reappeared on Friday after being highly criticized for his visa issues. Harry admitted in his memoir that he had used substances such as marihuana, cocaine and hallucinogenic mushrooms. This caused outrage among the American people because any kind of substance abuse is completely unacceptable when applying for a residency visa.
Harry did not address the controversy during his latest public appearance. He was invited to Car S.O.S, a National Geographic show where he surprised the military veteran, Stephan Van Niekerk, who suffered the loss of both legs during his deployment in Afghanistan.
Prince Harry left a heartfelt message in order to show support for the veteran:
After getting injured at such a young age after two tours of Afghanistan, you are the definition of inspiration because you are not defined by your injury. You are defined by your selflessness to others, to your community, your inspirational talks to young people, and, of course, to your four kids and to your amazing wife, Sadie, who no doubt has got you this far. So full respect, well done you.
Despite the fact that Prince Harry did not want to talk about the reports of his visa status, he showed his good intentions and kindness, which reminds people of her mother, the late Princess Diana.
