After the happy conclusion of the trilogy of “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” films, which were adapted from the Jenny Han novel, it appeared that the story of Lara Jean and her family was finished. However, Netflix has just revealed that Kitty’s story is just as important as Lara Jean’s, and now it is Kitty’s turn to share it.
Through social media, Netflix gave us our first look at what we can expect from the movie, which will be released on May 18. In the movie, Kitty will share her own tale of love with her boyfriend Dae, and we will also discover more about the mother of the young Covey, who are by this point dispersed all over the world.
Additionally, the performers Sang Heon Lee, Anthony Keyvan, Gia Kim, Peter Thurnwald, Sunny Oh, Han Bi Ryu, Jocelyn Shelfo, Regan Aliyah, John Corbett, Sarayu Blue, and Yunjin Kim will be featured in this Netflix Spin-Off.
“Katherine Song-Covey, Kitty to her friends, is about to embark on her own adventure. After giving her sister Lara Jean’s love life a boost, it’s time for Kitty to live her own epic story,” reads the film’s synopsis.
Internet users flooded the networks with remarks after the unexpected announcement of the Spin-Off, expressing their excitement for the premiere and for learning more about the Covey family. Although it is currently unclear if Peter and Lara Jean will be able to be seen again.
