BTS, a well-known Kpop group from South Korea, makes a cameo in a brand-new Netflix original drama. The first Kpop fan from Korea is featured in the drama, and as a result, ARMY is paying close attention to their tale.
BTS’s influence on social media is so significant that it is usual to see the group or some of its seven members in various shows, series, documentaries, and other movies.
The South Korean remake of “La Casa de Papel” is currently available on the Netflix platform, where you can view it right away. This is how the septet got there.
One of the characters in the series is a young woman named “Tokyo” who lives in North Korea. Despite the iron dictatorship and extreme strictness of the government there, the young woman can be seen dancing and listening to a Bangtan song.
The world she experiences, though, is different because it is illegal to consume South Korean media there. You may even be sentenced to execution due to the high rate of restriction.
The fact that the series uses BTS as a point of comparison, however, has been praised by ARMY because it demonstrates their dominance of the Kpop landscape.
Si no has visto ‘La casa de papel: Corea’, debes saber que la serie inicia con una canción de BTS porque Tokio es fan de @bts_bighit. 🤯😎✨ pic.twitter.com/kFCtkLKetb
