The popular South Korean Kpop group BTS has had several moments that have brought its members to the brink of the abyss, thanks to different stages where they even thought of diluting the septet. And on one occasion, Suga, one of the members of the group, even wrote a song to say goodbye to all their fans.
The impact that BTS has on each of their fans is undeniable, and it is for that reason that the temporary rest that the members of the group have at the moment, because of the mandatory military service that each of them must fulfill, has the whole ARMY very sad.
However, in 2016, the group was going through a difficult time, so difficult that they were even thinking of retiring for good. So much so, that a song was written to say goodbye to their fans.

During the success at the time of 2016 onwards, the emotional and personal situation of the members was very affected. The group did not reveal it until 2018, when Jin, the eldest of the seven members, stated in the middle of a speech that they thought about splitting up, but they continued to what they are today.
It was that time when Suga, who is also one of the most popular producers in the kpop scene, wrote “Tear” a song by way of farewell at that time and portrayed the decision to quit or continue as BTS.
The lyrics reflect the frustrations and contradictions the group felt at the time, as they were torn between following their dream or ending their suffering, which meant splitting up for good.
Fortunately that did not happen and BTS moved on and their success increased even more, but the song did come out and the whole ARMY has been able to cry with it.
