In 2011 the young De La Cruz received a request from the Latin trap singer, where he told her to record a voice note saying “Bad Bunny Baby“, to use it in his songs, a request that she accepted by recording the note and sending it to Benito, now many years later she is demanding the sum of 40 million dollars, for allegedly not having authorized the artist the use of this phrase.
Currently, the record production company with which the famous Latin trap artist works, is working judicially to reject this lawsuit, since local entertainment media assure that the phrase did have the permission of the plaintiff, something that many fans have taken as a mockery towards Carliz, for only wanting to get a great fortune in an easy way.
