Shawn Mendes opens up about rumored relationship with Sabrina Carpenter

Recently, people have been talking about Shawn Mendes‘ alleged romance with Sabrina Carpenter through social media, a rumor that has been gaining momentum because of the numerous views of the couple dating.

The pop singer has decided to speak out, on a TV show in the Netherlands, Shawn spoke for the first time about the rumor that he was dating Sabrina Carpenter, where he said “We are not dating“, he said that it was all a misunderstanding by the entertainment media who had already seen him several times going out with the pop star.

He also confessed to the media that he and Sabrina were just good friends, and that he was currently without a romantic partner.

Shawn Mendes broke up with his ex-partner, Camilla Cabello, last November 2021, where he lost more than two years of dating with the artist, the decision to end the relationship was announced by Shawn through his social networks explaining to his fans what had happened, and confessing that the decision to end the relationship was mutual on the part of both.

Since then, the singer has not returned to maintain a romantic relationship with anyone, at least not officially, as many media claim that Shawn has been dating Sabrina Carpenter for about 6 months.
