Shakira’s mom is hospitalized in emergency for thrombosis

Shakira’s parents’ health was one of the reasons she delayed moving from Barcelona to the United States because, regrettably, her father had been admitted to the hospital on occasion for emergencies. According to the hosts of Telemundo’s “La Mesa Caliente,” Shakira’s mother was reportedly admitted to the hospital on Friday and endured some tests.

Through sources close to the singer it was learned that her mother was hospitalized on emergency due to a thrombosis, “the lady felt bad, was hospitalized and there they detected a thrombosis in her leg,” they said.

The studies “show that the clot did not reach her brain,” they stated, “but the lady’s present state of health is stable. She’s anticipated to be released tomorrow. (Tuesday).

As she has done with her father when he has collapsed in the hospital, Shakira has not yet offered any comments on the situation.
