Gerard Piqué launched strong comment to refer to his separation with Shakira

Regarding his split from Shakira, his ex-partner and children’s mother, Gerard Piqué has made a forceful statement.

For the second time, the former Barcelona football player discussed how his split from singer Shakira, the mother of his two children, affected him. With a forceful remark, he clarified what actually would have happened with the matter, which has damaged his reputation for the past year and continues to do so.

The owner of the Kings League expressed his rage for the recent events in an interview with Spain’s esteemed daily “El Pais,” while also bragging about his ongoing romance with model Clara Chia.

In the interview the Catalan ratified the first opinion he had given on the subject: “I’m not going to give an opinion, I don’t feel like it. Everyone has a responsibility to try to do what is best for their children”. However, he then referred to everything that people have transmitted on the networks and what the media comments.

“It’s not like that, the problem is how people perceive it or the prenda sells it. I keep doing what I want,” declared the former defender. “I want to be true to myself. I’m not going to spend pasta (money) on cleaning up my image. The people I care about and the people I love are the people who know me. The rest I don’t care about.”

And at the end with a hint message to Shakira he pointed out: “I’m very happy. There have been changes in my life and I have been able to preserve happiness,” referring to the relationship he has built with the Spanish Clara Chia.
