BTS is currently on hiatus due to several of its members having to enlist in the military. However, this has served as an opportunity for other of its members to explore their careers as soloists. Jimin, one of the most popular singers in the band, is breaking records with the first single of his debut album, Face.
‘Set Me Free Pt.2’ was released on March 17, 2023 and it immediately garnered the attention of both fans and casuals. The single is currently at the top of the platforms like iTunes and has already broken several records.
The song skyrocketed to the #2 place on iTunes in more than 110 countries but what’s impressive is that this feat was achieved in just 10 hours after the song was released. By doing this, the South Korean singer broke the record of the fastest song to reach this position in more than 100 countries.
Similarly, the song debuted at #6 on Spotify’s global chart and became the single by a member of the band with the highest debut in the list. On YouTube, the song is already accumulating a lot of views and it currently has 30 million in less than 3 days. It looks like BTS is an unstoppable force and even if the band is not complete, its members will continue to have incredible success.
