Kate Middleton claims she strongly disagrees with her mother-in-law, the late Princess Diana, regarding the best way for raising her children.
The Princess of Wales is currently in the eye of the storm due to the multiple rumors of her divorce from her husband, Prince William, who apparently cheated on her. She also expresses that she does not agree with the values that Princess Diana sowed on her children, much less with the way she raised them to shape their future.
Kate’s perspective on educating her children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, is far from the way the Prince of Wales was raised.
Princess Diana always looked after the future well-being of her children and wanted them to have a non-royal life while being aware of the world’s issues. She set the example and visited numerous organizations where both William and Harry could face the reality of people outside the palace who don’t have the same comforts.
On the other hand, Kate does not want her children to have a normal childhood. According to Tom Quinn: ‘Kate makes no effort – unlike Diana – to bring the children down to earth because she doesn’t want them to have a “normal” childhood in the sense that Diana wanted it for William and Harry.’
William and Kate feel comfortable with the way they are raising their children, allowing them to live with many luxuries and privileges of the lifestyle into which they were born.
