Lele Pons and Guaynaa reveal that they were about to call off the supposedly “wedding of the year” a few weeks before they exchanged vows in front of the altar in Miami, Florida, for a significant cause.
The newlyweds claimed in an audio interview for “El Gordo y la Flaca” that the reggaetonero became extremely ill just before the event and they had their doubts about whether he would recover in time for the performance.
“I had to get a serum at night and, the next day, they gave me serum and the drama. The next day, in the morning, I felt like vomiting and another serum,” he said.
According to the singer, the doctor verified that her future husband had consumed a bad food item, and as a result, he was very concerned about whether he would be able to attend the ceremony.
But she always put his health first, and she even warned him that everything might get canceled at the last minute if he didn’t get better.
“The doctor came, I had eaten something horrible and he said ‘What if we don’t get married tomorrow’ (and I replied) we don’t get married tomorrow and that’s it. I mean, health is the important thing. No, no, he felt very bad and, besides, I had lost my dog that day,” he said.
Guaynaa then spoke up once more and acknowledged that he had worried that his health would not better in time for the nuptials: “I wondered, ‘Could it be that I won’t get married in the afternoon?
Fortunately, the singer Guaynaa was able to heal and marry in an event that many have already labeled as “the wedding of the year”.
