Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are once again the centers of controversy in the British royal family. According to the couple, King Charles III does not want their children to be part of the royalty and does not recognize them as real royals.
King Charles III and Camilla Parker’s coronation is just a few weeks away but it looks like they won’t be able to avoid the negative press. Again, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have expressed their discontent with how the royal family treats their family, especially their children.
Although Harry and Meghan have been highly critical of the monarchy, they believe that the two minors who were recently named prince and princess are not to blame for their parent’s actions and that they deserve to be treated as worthy members of the royal family. It also seems that the British people are with them on this one.
Earlier this month, the official royal family website was updated to include the royal titles of Harry and Meghan’s children: Prince Archie of Sussex and Princess Lilibet of Sussex. Despite this, there wasn’t an official announcement or even a social media post to share the news. As a result, the fact that the children are now official royals is still unknown to many.
According to a source close to the couple, they are happy that their children were finally recognized as royals but the fact that it was not as celebrated as it was with Prince William’s children means they are not really welcome in the family. They are both furious about this and there are reports that they are thinking of turning down the invitation to the coronation ceremony as a result.
