BTS’ RM plans to pursue solo music career after group’s separation

South Korean singer RM of BTS is planning to continue his solo career after he finishes his military service, apparently due to the separation of the group. RM, a member of one of the most recognized KPOP groups, will soon start his obligation in the military service of South Korea, just like his partner Jin, who started his training center on December 13th, 2022.

And although the singers had previously expressed that upon returning from their commitments, the group would keep their activity again, the reality of the separation would be affecting RM.

The artist is rethinking to continue his solo activity as he did when he released his first album “Indigo”, as he admitted in an interview “After ten years as a member of BTS, I didn’t know who I was and I wanted to know” assured the rapper.

He continued, “I started out as a teenage rapper, then BTS came along and everything was very intense, and now that the group is inactive, I thought back to the beginnings and the real reasons why I joined BTS“.

The Idol would be clarifying that possibly in his military service he could compose some songs, in order to release new songs, this time without the company of his companions, as usual. The singer’s revelation puts the future of the group at stake, as well as causes sadness in ARMY who have been supporting the talented group for years.
