According to official media, the Miss Universe organization has announced that it will alter the competition’s rules for the first time in its existence.
The new rules will permit married and expectant women to take part in the Miss Universe modeling and beauty pageant, stating that all women should have the freedom to make their own decisions and that there shouldn’t be any obstacles standing in the way of anyone’s success.
So far, the group has only permitted participation from single women who are between the ages of 18 and 28 and who have never been married or given birth. No information has been provided regarding whether the age restriction will alter or stay the same.
