In a recent interview on March 9th, Jimin recounted the difficult times he experienced due to the pandemic, and told of the disappointments he would have had while he was unable to go out and perform with his fellow BTS members at their shows.
BTS was at its peak, and at the height of its popularity, the terrible news of an isolation due to the COVID-19 pandemic was announced to the world, which for all the members of the KPOP group, was received in a very painful way, even for all their fans.
Since this meant that the artists would not be able to perform their shows that they had already planned and even practiced, something that disappointed the singers and saddened the ARMY at the time. Jimin confessed a few words about this event in an interview done by a fashion magazine last March 9th.
.
“I worked very hard to be the best at this, I was very sad when I found out that I couldn’t prove it,” Jimin told his interviewer, to which he went on to relate “I had limited experience, I don’t want to exaggerate, but I felt like my whole life’s work was reduced to nothing, it was a time of stagnation.”
He also said that the lack of encouragement from his fans, as he continued the isolation, was very discouraging, but not everything was negative for the artist, due to his statements that thanks to the pandemic he was also able to know himself more. With a mocking tone and a smiling expression he said that he discovered that he was very lazy, as he felt that showering required a lot of work when he didn’t have to do it.
