Miss Universe 2022 is probably one of the most controversial editions of the pageant in recent tears. The crowned R’Bonney Gabriel is still questioned as a worthy winner and her first months after winning have not been easy. To make things worse, none of the sponsors wants to use Gabriel for promotional material because she is not appealing.
It is rumored that the former Miss USA is considering resigning from her position due to her unpopularity among the general public and poor reception on an international level. Even Anne Jakrajutatip, the owner of the Miss Universe brand, has been receiving more attention than the current title holder.
The American beauty queen’s public reception is so bad that she is been losing followers on all her social media networks since she won back in January. As a result, it looks like Gabriel and the Miss Universe organization are contemplating the option of resigning and letting someone with a better public image take the title of Miss Universe 2022.
According to beauty experts and fans of the pageant, Amanda Dudamel from Venezuela and Andreína Martínez from the Dominican Republic were more qualified to hold the title of Miss Universe and should have won. There are still hopes that one of them is declared the rightful winner as R’Bonney Gabriel’s reign has been underwhelming.
