The royals’ contentious relationship is still a topic of discussion because, despite the passing of time, they were unable to reach a lasting reconciliation just a few weeks before the coronation, which ought to be free of the current controversies.
Despite the Duke of Sussex’s efforts to mend fences with his family, his father and brother have responded in the most embarrassing way possible.
Several members of the British royal family were invited to the recent christening of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s youngest daughter, Lilibet Diana. However, the humiliating response from everyone was to not attend or accompany Prince Harry on the important day, perhaps as a result of the controversies that Prince Harry has caused.
The 21-month-old infant’s christening took place at a small celebration that was also witnessed by the baby’s well-known Hollywood producer godfather and Meghan Markle’s closest relatives.
The dukes would decline to attend the coronation of King Charles III and Queen consort Camilla Parker because the royal family, despite not attending, has not made any comment about it.
Now all that remains is to wait for Charles’ coronation to see if Prince Harry will show up and make any decisions that will put the royals in doubt.
