Prince Harry and Meghan Markle already have a plan for the upcoming weeks ahead of King Charles III and Camilla Parker’s coronation. It is no secret that the two families do not get along and are keeping their distance from each other after half a year of controversies and it looks like things won’t get better soon.
As a result of this, it is still unclear if the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will attend the coronation ceremony on May 6th. There has not been an official statement confirming their attendance and it looks like everyone will have to wait until that day to find out.
However, it looks like the Queen Consort could have taken for granted that the couple will not be able to attend as they are not considered welcome in the royal family due to their negative press. Because of this, Camilla had previously decided to offer their privileged seats to her own children.
According to a source close to the King, her plans were rejected by Charles himself. He reportedly told her those seats were previously assigned to Harry and Meghan and assuming that they did not attend the ceremony, no other person would be worthy of occupying them and would remain empty.
