King Charles III has ordered that Prince Andrew be humiliated at his coronation because the prince has recently been involved in a number of disputes and scandals that have severely tarnished the royal family’s reputation.
According to “The Mirror,” King Charles III recently disclosed that he had forbade his brother from donning higher ceremonial robes at his coronation.
People who have made a major contribution to the arts, sciences, sports, or public service are given the British Order of Chivalry. The highest rank in the organization, represented by the donning of ceremonial robes, is that of Knight or Dame Grand Cross.
The coronation of King Charles III, which is scheduled for May 6, is predicted to be a historic occasion by the public and by devotees of the aristocracy.
Prince Andrew has previously been denied permission to don significant traditional clothing because of his controversy. The same excuse prevented Andrew from donning a traditional outfit during the prior Jerrateria Day ceremony.
King Charles III’ decision to forbid the Prince from donning the ceremonial robes of the highest position is widely regarded as an effort to restore the royal family’s reputation following a string of scandals.
Prince Andrew has voiced his frustration and anger at the choice, but the royal household has not released any formal statements about a change of heart.
