Prince Andrew will receive Frogmore Cottage, the house previously occupied by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, and in exchange, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will get the rooms that Prince Andrew had at Buckingham Palace.
This decision was ordered by King Charles III to guarantee the presence of his youngest son and daughter-in-law at the coronation, which will take place on May 6th at Westminster Abbey.
According to the “Mail on Sunday” newspaper, royal sources indicated that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are still invited to the coronation, despite the eviction of Frogmore Cottage. In addition, some sources claimed that King Charles III was “angry and tired” with Harry’s attacks in his book “Spare“, especially for his treatment of Queen Consort Camilla Parker.

Sources claimed that the King does not want to leave his brother Andrew homeless or destitute, but he also does not want to deprive the Duke and Duchess of Sussex of a place in the UK. Although Meghan and Harry will not be able to return to their home in Windsor, they will have the possibility of having rooms in one of the most emblematic buildings in London.
Sources said:
“The Sussexes have always wanted rooms at Buckingham Palace, for that reason they could have the former rooms Prince Andrew had there that are currently unoccupied“.
This decision will allow the royal couple to have a place to stay on their next visit to the UK.
