J-Hope, famous South Korean singer and member of BTS, has bid a melancholy farewell to his “son” Mang, shortly before he is due to leave for military service.
The artist will be the second of the iconic band’s members to have to fulfill his obligation in his country’s military service, just like Jin, who entered as a freshman on December 13th in an act that caused sadness in ARMY, as his fans have been called.
A few weeks ago, the singer announced through his agency, that he was making preparations for his early departure, and among these, one of his obligations was to say goodbye to his “son“. The fact was captured in a video where his fans have been quite nostalgic.

The first meeting between the two was also the farewell between “father and son“, or between creator and character, as his followers have called them. In the video there have been some really sensitive moments, where the attendees shed a tear or two.
In the video the character publicly thanks J-Hope expressing: “Thank you so much for creating me, thanks to you I met Koya, RJ, Shooky, Chimmy, Tata, Cooky, Van, and everyone else in BT21. With this gratitude in my heart, I am doing my best to spread my love to everyone I see“.
But one of the questions that caused more intrigue among the attendees, was when Mang asked the artist if they could see each other again after the military service, and what the rapper replied that of course it will be a fact.
