Shakira first discussed her emotions following her contentious split from Gerard Piqué on February 27. The singer native from Colombia, assured that the process had been arduous but necessary.
The famous Colombian broke the silence in an interview with Enrique Acevedo for ‘Nmás,‘ making it obvious that after being wounded in the heart, she is now an empowered and stronger woman.
“It’s strange how life has to make use of these moments so cabr*n*s, how would you say, to develop emotional muscles you didn’t know you had…. I didn’t know I could become so strong,” the singer commented.
Piqué was therefore seen leaving his home alone and quickly a few hours after making these comments public. Contrary to what many people anticipated, he wasn’t with Clara Chia, his present girlfriend, with whom he allegedly cheated on Shakira
The former defender avoided the Spanish media at all costs, and what little of his face was visible was a face “of few friends,” as he evidently did not want to respond to the interpreter of “Waka Waka” interview.
The former football star has a history of refusing to comment on Shakira’s new songs, but this time he wouldn’t even let her shut the garage door before running away.
