Selena Gomez recently declared that she would take a break from social media, claiming that she finds what occurs there to be “crazy.”
Selena Gomez has stressed numerous times how important it is to pay attention to her mental health, particularly since she has already gone through depressive episodes.
Beyond the fact that she wants to look after her mental health, the news of the deletion of her social media accounts coincides with the Kylie Jenner and herself controversy.
In a live broadcast, the singer announced that she would take a break from using social media. Selena Gomez chose not to interact on their respective profiles or post anything while they are still active.
She will only continue to use her TikTok page as her only social media account, at least for the time being.
“And yes, I’m going to take a break from social networks because it’s all a bit crazy. I’m 30 years old, I’m too old for this, so… but I love you guys so much! I’ll see you guys sooner rather than later, I’m just going to take a break from everything,” Gomez explained.
Shortly after the contentious incident involving influencer Kylie Jenner, who days earlier would have sent hints to Selena Gomez and would have made fun of a made-up aesthetic arrangement, the choice to avoid virtual interaction on social networks was made.
In addition, Justin Bieber’s present wife and Gomez also disagreed with each other, when Bieber messed with Selena’s best friend, Taylor Swift.
