The city of Milton Keynes, which is 45 miles northwest of London in the county of Buckinghamshire, has undergone a difficult visit by King Charles III.
The visit has been more painful than anticipated due of the absence of his wife, Camilla Parker, who has a coronavirus positive test result. Prior to visiting the city’s Food Bank, the monarch participated in a gathering at Christ the Cornerstone Church for members of the neighborhood community and organizations.
King Carlos III has addressed the group in between yells, saying:
Not my King!” and making allusions to the Duke of York, his brother.
King Charles III has maintained his smile despite the protests and has met other individuals who were pleased to see him.
Since Milton Keynes received this designation as part of the celebrations for Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee last year, the King has traveled to the region to mark the occasion. The visit, however, has been quite difficult for the king who, in addition, has not been able to rely on the support of any of his family members, particularly his wife, who was unable to come due to her illness on this occasion.
