Selena Gomez often uses her platforms to address important issues related to mental health and self-esteem. The actress was diagnosed with lupus, an autoimmune disease, in 2015 and had to undergo a transplant during treatment.
In a recent livestream on her Tik Tok account last Thursday, February 16th, the artist talked about the effects of the medication used to control the disease on her body. The “Only Murders in The Building” star explained that the medications cause her to retain a lot of fluid, gaining weight.
