The big royal wedding between Prince William and Kate Middleton, which took place on April 29th at the prestigious Westminster Abbey, was at the time the talk of the entertainment media around the world, however, very few realized the defiant words that Meghan, the current wife of Prince Harry, dedicated to it.
For those years, Meghan Markle, who had nothing to do with the British royalty, was the creator of a small internet blog called “The Tig”, where she told us part of her day to day, among other lifestyle issues and diets.
In her time Meghan was also interested in the biggest event of the British monarchy at the time, the wedding of Kate Middleton and Prince William, of which she wrote several criticisms of the celebration, where she confessed that she would rather be a rebellious heroine than a delicate princess, among other comments.

“Little girls dream of being princesses. I, for one, would prefer ‘She-Ra’, the princess of power. For those unfamiliar with the 1980s cartoon reference, ‘She-Ra’ is the twin sister of ‘He-Man’ and a sword-wielding royal rebel known for her strength.” this was what Meghan Markle stated at the time.
Life takes many turns and for Meghan this turned out to be more than just a saying, as she ended up being what she once said she would not want to be, now being part of the most important royal family of the European continent and the world.
