Good morning.

This is PLEDIS Entertainment.

We would like to provide you with information about the health condition of SEVENTEEN member The8.

Part of The8’s left collarbone was fractured and the medical staff advised him to wear a neck brace to secure the fractured area and avoid excessive movement.

The artist is very determined to attend all of the band’s pre-scheduled engagements; however, his participation will be adjusted according to the circumstances, placing his recovery at the top of the priorities as recommended by the medical staff.

As such, The8 will participate in the band’s pre-arranged activities, including CARAT DAY Live, the autograph signing event in China and the 2023 SVT 7TH FAN MEETING ‘SEVENTEEN in CARAT LAND’, among others, with his neck brace as long as he does not. Do not put too much pressure on his recovery. We ask our fans for their kind consideration.

We will do everything we can to help with The8’s treatment and recovery so that he can return to his fans in full health as soon as possible.

Thank you“.
