The Colombian singer and hitmaker Shakira was in a romantic relationship with the Spanish retired football player Gerard Piqué for more than 11 years, just to be cheated on with a woman 22 years younger, proving that he only ever wanted her to use her relevancy to get positive influence that he could use to get beneficial contracts for his company, Kosmos.
Well, now that she has been freed of her relationship with him, she no longer has to help him get contracts using her influence, and according to some reports, Piqué has not been having as much success as when he was enjoying being the husband of a beloved influential woman.
Not long ago, it was reported that Kosmos, a company specialized in organizing and managing sports events, which is owned and run by Piqué, lost a contract to be the operational and financial managers of the Davis Cup, which was the main income source for the company. The end of the contracts has already sparked a legal dispute about some clauses that were not met.
However, it looks like this downfall is not a mere causality but rather the work of Shakira herself, who according to the reports made by Spanish newsletters, could be using her fame and power to influence things around her to further damage Piqué’s business.
Shakira was confirmed to be the one behind all the contracts and investors that Kosmos got, now, she is being rumored to be contacting those investors and businessmen not to get more contracts for Kosmos, but rather to end them. And some have proved their loyalty by doing so.
