Fans of the Korean music group, Blackpink, slept on the streets to buy a ticket for their concert. Dozens of people, mostly youngsters, lined up to get a ticket and enjoy the performance of the group Blackpink.
Blackpink is an Asian idol quartet that started in 2016 that has been very successful around the world. At the beginning of this year 2023 it was announced that next April 26th would be their first presentation in Latin America, to be more specific in Mexico.

The group’s fans lined up for more than 20 hours outside the box office to get tickets. “We arrived yesterday at 7 p.m., we spent the night very cold and uncomfortable, but here we are. At night no one accompanied us, we were only with the fans. Suddenly when we remembered we were singing the group’s songs,” said María Galván, a Blackpink fan.

The fans, better known as BLINK, mentioned that ticket prices range from $42 to $1600. Tickets began to be sold at 2:00 pm. Minutes before that time, several people entered the line, which provoked the protest of the fans.

Preventive police officers went to the place and removed the people who entered, however, when the gate was opened again, they entered the line, which provoked some blows and pushing and shoving. Once they began to enter to buy their tickets, the situation returned to calm.
