The TXT guys are really making history by dominating the most popular album sales charts in the U.S., the Billboard 200. On February 5, it was officially announced that Tomorrow X Together’s new mini album, “The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION,” debuted at No. 1 on its famous Top 200 Albums chart.

Not only did it manage to debut straight to the top, but “The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION” also achieved the biggest sales week in the United States for any album since Taylor Swift‘s “Midnights” debuted at No. 1 on the chart last November, meaning TXT now owns one of the biggest sales weeks for an album in the new decade.

According to Luminate (formerly Nielsen Music), “The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION” scored a total of 161 500 equivalent album units for the week ending February 2nd. The album’s total score consisted of 152,000 physical album sales and 9,000 streaming equivalent album units.
These means that the album achieving 13.24 million on-demand audio streams over the course of the week. The studio work also racked up 500 track equivalent album units (TEA) in its first week.
As a particular achievement, the HYBE group becomes the fifth Korean artist in history to top the Billboard 200, following BTS, SuperM, Stray Kids and BLACKPINK, and the second 4th gen group with Stray Kids.
They also become the second KPOP act to chart seven different albums on the Billboard 200 (after BTS). “The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION” is their third Top 5 album, following “The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE” (which peaked at #5) and “minisode 2: Thursday’s Child” (which peaked at #4), and their seventh overall chart entry.
